Thames River Family Health Organization

Family Health Organizations are an Ontario Ministry of Health partnership.

 

There are several ways that Family Health Organizations (FHOs) benefit patients. As a patient of one of the doctors in this organization, you have access to medical assistance during extended hours and can contact the Telephone Health Advisory Service.

 

For non-emergency questions, you can contact Telehealth 24-7. The registered nurse you will speak with can answer questions and either give you advice on self care or recommend you visit your physician. They can also provide contact information for resources in your community. The Telehealth nurse can also contact the on-call physician in this Family Health Organization to assist in providing care or advice for you.
